INTRODUCTION
Canberra and the Australian Capital Territory have some fabulous golf courses, headed by Royal Canberra, Australia's lush, undulating answer to Augusta National. It has hosted several Australasian PGA tournaments and is currently rated 12th best course in the country. Elsewhere, the top public access courses are Capital and Gold Creek.Royal Canberra, ACT
Gungahlin Lakes, ACTFederal and Yowani are the only other two courses in the Top 100. Federal is rated amongst the best inland courses in the country and Yowani has a stunning back nine of gently undulating, tight, tree lined holes that offers a very good test of golf. Gungahlin Lakes is the ACT's newest course, built in 1995, and features attractive lakes and ponds with challenging water carries across fairways and to greens.
