Northern Territory
| Although there are limited numbers of courses in the Northern Territory, they do offer a big variety in the types of courses on offer. The Alice Springs Golf Club is the sporting centrepiece of the unofficial capital of Central Australia, set in the foothills of the majestic MacDonnell Ranges. It is the only Northern Territory course in the Top 100. | |
 | Located in the heart of Darwin, the Darwin Golf Club is home to a tropical 18 hole Championship layout designed by Peter Thompson. There are also a few other courses of good standard, with most featuring sand greens. |

While most visitors at one point or another pass through Alice Springs, the real attraction is 441km away where Uluru (Ayers Rock) rises 348m high out of the surrounding sandy scrubland. Nearby is Kata Tjuta (The Olgas), a bizarre collection of huge rounded rocks. Watarrka National Park includes one of the most spectacular sights in central Australia - the sheer, 100m high walls and secluded water holes of Kings Canyon.

Darwin is the capital of the Northern Territory and is the gateway to the unrivalled natural playground of Kakadu, Litchfield and Nitmiluk National Parks. Bountiful billabongs, an abundance of plant and animal life, wonderous waterfalls and some of the best rock art on the planet can be found here. Take a trip up the Adelaide River to see crocodiles in their natural environment.

ARE YOU A GOLF COURSE WITHOUT A WEBSITE?

 |
In this day and age, it is important for golf clubs to have a presence on the web in order to promote the course, advertise for new members or create business through social and corporate functions. Sadly, the cost to create, host and maintain a good site is beyond the financial reach for many clubs. Fortunately Golf Guide Australia has the solution . . .
We are offering a one page
summary of your course. This can be used for any purpose such as to promote the club, show photos of the course, or provide details for those wishing to hold functions. For more information click here. |
