Constructed on a natural sand belt, the course has been built in the tropical bushlands that boarders Walker Bay and the Anan River. Located beside Monkhouse Point, with the imposing Mount Cook as a constant backdrop, the natural beauty of the surrounds make this links type course a must for golf adventurers and holiday hackers alike. However, there is a catch to all the beauty. This is the most northern golf course on the East Coast, and the wind in the dry season funnels up from the south east and blows around 20 knots most days. New irrigation systems augment the natural wet season sprinklers, and tee boxes, greens and fairways are well presented all year round. Free drop from Echidna holes. | |||
