 Description:
The Par 72 course runs alongside the racetrack for the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix, and is a most picturesque location.

Albert Park's impressive landscape is dominated by mature exotic trees, and boasts some of the finest Elms in the state of Victoria. Recent extensions to the course have resulted in the planting of some 1600 additional trees of varying species.

Local residents began playing golf and developing the initial course in 1899, and 1999 marked the centenary of what is now the Albert Park Golf Course.

In 1992 the Box Hill Golf Club opened its new Clubhouse, built for a cost of over $2m.

This situation provides easy access from Station Street , a main thoroughfare. While on the eastern side an atmosphere of peace and quiet exists - as would be expected on any course. Step through the foyer or walk up from the car park and you are completely away from the hustle and bustle of Metropolitan Melbourne and the busy commercial precinct of Box Hill.

The Clubhouse has proven itself to be both a practical and pleasant building, catering for all the needs of the Club members as well as complementing the course and providing a much sought after entertainment venue.

The Course at Box Hill Golf Club provides a real challenge. Accurate Golf is needed to be able to play to your handicap.

Vast open fairways with lots of room to compensate for poorly played shots are not a feature of our course. Our players find when playing away at other courses, that they have little difficulty in playing to their handicaps.

Gardiner’s Creek and its associated vegetation meanders through the course and comes into play on a number of holes. The bird life that is attracted to this and the many other trees planted on the course is a delight at all times.
